YEREVAN (Azg daily), 01/27/99 — As a result of fire in the opera building on January 25, inspector of the theater Albert Andreasian has died.

YEREVAN (Respublica Armenia daily), 01/27/99 — The Constitutional Court has not yet accepted a decision about the ArmenTel deal which, according to a request of 72 MPs, contradicts to the article 8 of the Constitution of Armenia, which guarantees free competition. YEREVAN (Azg daily), 01/26/99 — Smoke was noticed from behind thee stage in the Opera building in Yerevan at 7:30pm. yesterday. The firemen arrived in five minutes upon the alarm of the guards and extinguished the source of smoke by 10:30pm. However, one of the stage workers has died, probably suffocating from smoke.
