Minimum Non-Taxable Salary In Armenia Increases To 17,000 Dram Monthly
EVAN (Golos Armenii daily), 01/30/99 — According to the Law about Income Tax, minimum non-taxable monthly income in Armenia reached 17,000 dram (about $31) from January 1, 1999, against 8,000 dram in 1998.
Above this amount, 15 percent income tax is paid for the amounts up to 120,000 dram, 25% – above 320,000 dram, and 30% above this. It is expected that the non-taxed amount will further increase to 28,000 dram in the year 2000.
